leather pants?

are leather pants hot and sweaty to wear.i want some for motorbike riding and when you get somewhere just wearing them as pants.how comfortable are they

1. sweaty as. dont get them. try some of the female clothing from the brand FOX.
2. They are certainly good for a sweaty crotch. If that's not your goal, don't get them.
3. Real,tight leather pants that bikers wear wouldn't be the most comfortable but it looks good.I say get yourself a pair!
4. The tighter they are the hotter you will get. If you get a good fitting pair you will be fine!
5. Not necessarily! This is a very comon misconception. Sorry for the emphasis, but most people assume they are abnormally hot, and will confidently say so even if they don't know from experience [they probably saw that Friend's episode and thought it was true]. The true answer is that it depends on several things: the thickness of the leather, the temperature outside, humidity, what you're doing while wearing them, and to some extent, the fit. Fisrt off, if it's a hot day, then leather pants will be hot regardless of what you're doing - that's simple enough. Of course, they aren't something you'd wear jogging anyway. However, for most of the weather where you would be perfectly comfortable in bluejeans, you will be quite comfortable in light to medium weight leather pants - that I can guarantee. If you get a pair that are very heavy for the purpose of protecting you from serious road rash, then yes, you will find them to be quite warm compared with jeans, and they will tend to be stiff. However, a pair of medium weight pants that offer more protection than jeans but aren't intended for heavy abuse will be only slightly hotter than regular jeans - seriously - and very supple. On the other end of the spectrum, if you were to buy a pair of lightweight lambskin pants that aren't intended for riding, you won't get much protection from the elements [less perhaps than bluejeans], but they won't be any hotter than regular pants and will be butter soft. To date, I've not found anything that rivals lambskin pants for comfort.
6. leather pants are very comfy! I wear them all the time. inside, outside, everywhere. They can be hot, but imagine the cold winter nights, wouldn't you rather be hot than cold? never mind when it's hot out, wear them anyway! I say get a pair! You'll enjoy wearing them!
