is there an easy way to get the smell of mothballs out of clothing.?
It is my arctic parka, very bulky down filled with wolf fur hood trim and leather cuff guards. It was put into a storage bag with mothballs last year by a friend of mine when she was helping me when I was released from hospital. I need it again because winter has returned. Any suggestions are welcome. I hate frozen bananas.

- Well, mothballs are not easy to get rid of; however, if you hang the coat in an airy place for a few days, it should lessen the smell. The other thing is to get fabric deodorant and spray it before you air it out.
- the best was to get rid of odors is to clean them, have your coat cleaned
- Hang them outside for three days. Launder them with anti-mothball agent, use the lemon scented. If these two measure do not appeal to you simply wear bananas in the pockets.
